Many of us have had that moment in our life when we look in the mirror and craved for a brighter
and whiter smile. Some of us have even wondered what it is that we can do to make that happen
for us. Well as it turns out, there are many options to take care of this whether it be at the dentist,
an at home kit, or some natural remedies to DIY at home.
The first option being the dentist which is one of the most popular cosmetic dental procedures
done. In this procedure, the dentist would apply a bleach gel on the teeth to sit on for a period of
time, something like 15 to 30 minutes. At this point, the bleach gel would be removed and a mouth
piece would be placed inside the mouth, exerting a light that activates the bleaching gel, ultimately
whitening the teeth. The result can be a difference of up to eight shades whiter depending on your
teeth.
Another option would be to take the dentist home. Of course that doesn’t mean tie up your dentist
and put him in the trunk, but there are plenty of over the counter methods you can use to help
with whitening. You can use teeth whitening toothpaste, rinses, and strips. With the strips, you
must be careful because the enamel on your teeth can deteriorate after a certain amount of time
and with over use. Many companies have also created kits that allow you to have the experience of
what you would if it was the dentist. You can bring home a small handheld light and gel to apply to
you teeth and achieve almost the same results.
Maybe you don't have the money to buy these kits and things that you might need to achieve your
desired results. There are also home remedies that you can use with just the things you have in
your kitchen. Some people even use baking soda and hydrogen peroxide and mix those together
and brush your teeth with them for a few days to help whiten teeth. This should not be used
everyday and there should be at least a six-month break in between using peroxide and baking
soda on your teeth. Others might even use coconut oils and a strawberry paste to help with
whitening teeth as well. Apple cider vinegar can be used as a rinse every day and a safe to put on
your teeth as a toothpaste to help. All in all there are multiple methods and Melodies you can use
to help get the desired results that you need. Just always make sure you are being safe and
consulting a dentist before doing anything extreme.
